To our BBQ Family, Competitors, and Fans,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the 2026 Hoosier BBQ Classic.
We know how much this event means to the Indiana BBQ community and the teams who travel from across the region to compete. For several months, our primary goal has been to find a new organizer or organization to take the reins and continue the tradition of this event. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have not been successful in securing a successor as of today.
We are a Turkey Smoke contest so a KCBS turkey ancillary was added to the Master Series contest on Saturday, June 7th. Turkey Smoke will be judged at 2PM on June 7th.
For more information: Turkey Smoke Rules
There will be a KCBS sanctioned one meat contest (ribs) on Friday, June 6th!
Benefits of a one meat contest:
* Receive KCBS points in ribs category
* Great for BBQ enthusiasts just starting out
* Less pit/grill space is needed
Included on the entry form is the KCBS Master Series four meat contest, Turkey Smoke and KCBS Rib-Burn contest
